Rocky Mountaineer - Day 2

This is the big one - a 10 hour train trip right into the heart of the Rockies.  There was so much to take in we never knew which way to look.  To the right, to the left, overhead, or outside on the viewing deck.  It was pretty challenging trying to take photos that didnt include reflections on the windows, trees obliterating the view, or power lines slicing through the image.  At the same time we had a brilliant guide giving so much insight into the building of the railway, and pointing out features.  And to top it all, any township we passed through had its own potted history and the inhabitants would all give us a wave.  The railway has brought them prosperity and they knew it!

By the time we arrived at Lake Louise we were exhausted from information and sensual overload!
