It was surreal to see our ship seemingly parked at the end of the street!
Will it be the same when we return I wonder ... ...
We did a quiet little bush walk with a small group from our tour in the morning to Smugglers Cove. Just love the trees and mosses.
And in the afternoon we visited a Mush Camp and went on a sled ride - on wheels though, no snow. The camp is 1000 feet up, travelling in all terrain army vehicles up a steep muddy incline - so much cooler and wetter than sea level. Despite the rain and cold we loved the experience.
We were encouraged to get close up and personal with the dogs.
Sled dogs are the only professional athletes in Alaska!
Quite some place!
